Timezone Buddy for Jira

JiraOn the roadmap

See your teammates' local time right inside the issue

Current Version
v2.29.0

On the roadmap — not in active development

Overview

Distributed teams waste time guessing whether it's a good moment to ping a colleague. Timezone Buddy puts everyone's local time directly on the Jira issue panel. No tab switching, no Googling time zones, no awkward 6 AM messages. Each team member sets their timezone once, and from then on every issue shows a live clock for every assignee and watcher. The team availability page gives managers a bird's-eye view of who's online, who's about to finish their day, and where the overlap windows are. Simple, fast, and one less thing to think about.

Features

  • Live local time display for every assignee and watcher directly on the issue panel
  • One-time timezone setup per user that works across all projects automatically
  • Team availability page showing who's online, offline, and in overlap hours
  • Visual timezone offset badges so you can spot time differences at a glance
  • Global settings page for users to set their own timezone and working hours
  • Designed for distributed and remote-first teams of any size
